Dr. Vanessa B. Beasley, Trinity University

President of Trinity University since July 2022, Dr. Vanessa B. Beasley is committed to ensuring Trinity receives national recognition as a leader in liberal arts education. This involves a commitment to the student experience, which includes interdisciplinary experiential learning and undergraduate research. She previously served as vice provost for academic affairs, dean of residential faculty, and associate professor of communication studies at Vanderbilt University. Beasley has been recognized for her teaching and mentorship at every university for which she has worked. She is the current president of the Rhetoric Society of America.
